With 2018 well underway, Counter Interiors have started the year with a fresh outlook. We are constantly striving to improve our ways of working in order to deliver the service you expect from us.

New Kitchen Ideas and Brands

Over the winter Masterclass have been busy working on their range of quality kitchens, expanding the colour palette, introducing a new style and a brand new range.

New 2018 Kitchen Range

First up Masterclass have released a new range in both, a modern handled or handleless option. Larna and Larna H-Line are slab doors available in 6 solid colours that feature a subtle horizontal grain effect. All non painted Masterclass doors are constructed from solid timber and over veneered using the highest quality vinyls and adhesion techniques. Masterclass have been in the kitchen industry since 1975 starting out in a small farmhouse hand building every single installation. With over 40 years of research, development and customer feedback, Masterclass Kitchens are able to utilise class leading technology on their own premises.

New Colours

As a result, the new Larna range of fitted kitchens is available in one of our lower price groups. Intended as a mix and match range, the warm colour palette acts as the perfect compliment to the gloss of Lumina or the silk finish of Sutton.

Larna is available in 6 beautiful colours including the new Autumn Blush, a dusty salmon pink that looks stunning with our range of Greys.

New Internals

Remember these? Chrome pull out wire works on your tall or base units. They were noisy, prone to twisting and (imo) don’t exactly shout “quality item”. Masterclass Kitchens appear to have come to the same conclusion, so have introduced their new iconic LegraBox R-Design.

This exclusive design has been created for Masterclass by the leading storage solutions manufacturer; Blum. Sleek and stunning is how I would describe it, the brushed steel sides with anthracite linen effect linings look simply amazing. Blum have even incorporated the Masterclass branding into the sides. These are not simply rebranded drawer packs, but designed exclusively for Masterclass and ultimately Counter Interiors.

Our pull out units both tall and base all use the new LegraBox R-Design. Gone are the chrome wireworks, in with smooth running matching internal cabinetry.

You can see the new LegraBox R-Design on display in our showroom. Fully loaded these things can take a massive 70 kilograms per shelf! That’s a whopping 210 kg in one tall larder unit.

New Displays

Every year we replace one or more of our displays to keep the studio looking fresh and up to date with the latest products. This year we are replacing both our Luna and Reno displays. The Luna has been sold but the curved island Reno is currently for sale on the Used Kitchen Exchange. If you would like to purchase the display we would love to hear from you.

Hampton H-Line and Silestone Calacatta Gold

In their places will be Hampton H-Line in Blue and Mayfield Oak, featuring a floating island adorned with one of our favourite new colours from Silestone’s Eternal Series, Calacatta Gold. This stunning white slab features striking bold grey veins over run with splashes of gold streaks. I am yet to find an online image that does this sample justice so feel the best way to appreciate Calacatta Gold’s beauty is to hold it to the light in our studio. We have just taken delivery of a large tile sample which has taken pride of place at the top of our Cosentino display for you to come and view.

The wall run will showcase Cosentino’s tactile Suede texture whilst the island will be polished using the famous brand’s new N-Boost technology specially developed at their headquarters near a large quarry in Spain.

N-Boost technology is a special coating that repels liquids. This hydrophobic layer not only protects against surface staining but also improves the lustre of the slab and helps prevent colour fading.

We can’t wait for it to be installed, inset into the Suede Calacatta Gold wall run will be a pair of integral sinks. We’re still making the final decisions on what colour the sinks should be, though we are leaning towards a darker contrast as opposed to a white or pale sink.

Deco Silver Oxide, Madoc Border Oak and Dekton Orix

Masterclass Kitchens have come up with some unique solutions for the ever popular open plan design. Open plan living, where the kitchen and living space become one and the same has been soaring in popularity. Busy lifestyles and modern attitudes to cooking mean we want our kitchen to be the hub of the home and our living area an extension of it. Large islands are used to define the separation between kitchen and living areas as well as being a seating area for entertaining.

Whilst the kitchen may look stunning and coordinated, this can leave our clients in a bit of a quandary as to how to furnish the living space. Back in 2016 we successfully created a Sutton Dust Grey media centre as well as sideboards and cupboards to create a consistent look throughout the house. You can see the results in our portfolio here. This solution has been developed by Masterclass to a point where we can begin to offer free standing furniture to compliment your kitchen. Choose from tall boys, sideboards and coffee tables to perfectly coordinate your open plan living design.

Our Madoc and Deco living space will create a wonderfully relaxing waiting area. Comfy seating, magazines and a tv showing all our latest products, we really can’t wait to see this display in and finished.

Perrin & Rowe

When we think of quintessential British kitchen brands, Perrin & Rowe are never far away. Long standing manufacturers of beautifully engineered taps, their classic style is only made possible because of the traditional techniques used to build every piece.

Perrin & Rowe are not mass produced on machines, each piece is hand built and polished to perfection. Established in 1978 Perrin & Rowe pride themselves on their commitment to staff, family values and the perfection of each and every item that leaves the factory. One blemish is all it takes for an entire tap to be scrapped, but if you want your brand to be all about the quality only the absolute best will do.

These stunning taps come in a range of eight colours; Chrome, Nickel, Pewter, Aged, Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Gold and Bronze.

As well as the taps and Belfast sinks, Perrin & Rowe also compliment your accessories with matching handles. You can now match your handles to any of Perrin & Rowe’s eight different colours.
