Ashbourne Terracotta Sunset, Wetherby
Our Wetherby client’s kitchen features a charming and undeniably bold focal point— a stunning central island hand painted in Terracotta Sunset.
Introducing this vivid hue to the island brings real warmth and character to the design. However, restricting the bright colour to a small section of cabinetry and offsetting this with an elegant grey prevents it from overwhelming the room. The beautiful, sunny tone adds a touch of the Mediterranean even on the darkest winter days. It also pairs wonderfully with our client’s vibrant blinds.
This bright and airy kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining. Keeping wall units to a minimum and building the tall cabinets into a recess opens up the room as much as possible. We recommended a downdraft venting hob in order to create space above the hob for our client’s recipe books. Open shelving makes a stylish and practical alternative to bulky overhead units. The radiant Scots Grey finish and clean white worktops also help radiate light throughout the space, creating an inviting ambience. This elegant Wetherby kitchen provides a lovely setting to relax and spend time in.
Appliances That Work For You
As you can see from the impressive collection of recipe books, our Wetherby clients love to cook. And so, to help them get even more from their project, we advised on the perfect appliances to suit their needs. The venting induction hob combines responsive and flexible temperature control with high-performance extraction, ideal for preparing a delicious meal while chatting with guests. A Quooker boiling water tap also speeds up cooking while allowing our client to serve hot drinks on demand.
An Eye-Catching Island
This stunning Wetherby kitchen is every bit as wonderful to use as it is to admire. As well as offering handy extra storage and worktop space, the eye-catching island establishes a great place for guests to gather. The characterful wood flooring complements the warm Terracotta Sunset island perfectly. Needless to say, our clients were over the moon with their new interior.
