A bold colour choice in our Ashbourne hand painted kitchen. Terracotta Sunset is a stunning burnt orange from our Vivid palette of seven bold and stunning colours. When going all out with colour in the kitchen it’s important not to turn your interior into a kaleidoscope, so for the perimeter we opted for the lightest colour we have in our range without going full White. Using Scots Grey really tones down the Orange to an acceptable level; the kitchen isn’t stark nor is it overly saturated, in fact it looks warm and inviting with a Mediterranean feel to it’s appearance. In summer the Terracotta will reflect a bright glow around the room, in Autumn, the golden hues will warm the cold evenings beautifully enhanced by the yellow and amber of fallen leaves visible through the kitchen window.

Our client loves to use their kitchen to entertain family and friends, they wanted plenty of light and an open feel to their kitchen space. We kept wall units to a minimum so as to avoid an imposing features, the extractor is built directly into the Vented hob leaving space above for recipe books and slimline wall units. The ovens are recessed into the wall so again, they do not impose over the space leaving the clients with a compact yet spacious kitchen to work in. A small overhang on the island allows for friends and family to socialise whilst cooking or sharing a glass of wine in the evenings.
